Was Oakland Raiders Spy On Zennie Abraham At NFL Draft 2007 Marc Badain?

Was Oakland Raiders Spy On Zennie Abraham At NFL Draft 2007 Marc Badain? - Video

Was Oakland Raiders Spy On Zennie Abraham At NFL Draft 2007 Marc Badain? https://ift.tt/2J8FXdO - The NFL held its annual NFL Draft Media Luncheon at Chelsea Piers on Thursday, April 26th. As part of the process of interviews and photo-ops, the players -- JaMarcus Russell, Brady Quinn, Adrian Peterson, Calvin Johnson, and Gaines Adams went outside -- well, except Peterson, who stayed in doors for some reason. While this is supposed to be a function where the media can point their cameras at these future stars, one person who I know but will not name with the Oakland Raiders felt it necessary to point his Leica video-camera at me. Twice. The first time he did it was at the Russell interview. All of the cameras are pointed at JaMarcus, except his. I happen to have a good feel for this, so I spotted him and was on alert. I was determined to catch him. The second time he did it was outside and I used my camcorder to bait him and catch him red-handed (or should I say "Silver-and-Black" handed?) filming me instead of the players!! It's in the video. Look for yourself!! Once the Raiders guy sees me point back at him, he walks off like a scared rabbit. It was one of the craziest events I've ever seen in my life. Why me? This places me in a category that's rare -- people spied on by the Oakland Raiders. It reminds me of those stories of the late New York Jets Coach Weeb Eubank who was once rumored to have screamed at a light bulb "Al Davis, I know you're up there!" It caused me to recall when my friend Sports Illustrated writer Michael Silver was banned from Oakland training camp for writing critical articles about the organization. For what reason, I don't know. It could be linked to my open criticism of their habit of running to court to sue either the NFL or Oakland as a way of raising revenue. But they're a big firm and such opinions are mine to have, regardless of whether the Raiders like them or not. The Raiders don't understand that it's impossible to control a message in today's society -- let the lesson begin. They don't know what the alternative course of actions are. I do. But I'm pretty tired of this and other actions by the organization with respect to me to this date. As far as I'm concerned the organization should have given me a medal for almost bringing the 2005 Super Bowl to Oakland, in the face of their lawsuits against both the City of Oakland and the NFL. Moreover, the 2005 Super Bowl would have made the Raiders the host team, and the controller of 10,000 tickets with a street value of around $3 million. See: https://ift.tt/2KcYcjx I put Oakland on the map as a possible Super Bowl host city, nearly give the organization a handsome reward in the process, and this is the thanks I get? Thanks! Brady Quinn Interview At 2007 NFL Draft Lunch - Video Three

Brady Quinn Interview At 2007 NFL Draft Lunch - Video Three - Video

Brady Quinn Interview At 2007 NFL Draft Lunch - Video Three The National Football League has it's media lunch on the Thursday prior to the draft and that was true again for the 2007 NFL Draft. This event, held at Chelsea Piers, had the five invited NFL Draft players -- Ja Marcus Russell, Brady Quinn, Adrian Peterson, Calvin Johnson, and Gains Adams -- on hand for interviews and photo ops with the invited media, including us. Some of the highlights were Ja Marcus Russell's admission that he'd not got a call from the Oakland Raiders -- though I believe he was coached to say that -- and Brady Quinn's comment that the offense the Oakland Raiders (who have the first pick) are installing is very much like the system he worked in at Notre Dame. I asked most of the players if they had experienced any change in the way their friends treated them, and all in different ways said they had not, which is good to report. This is the third of a five-part video stream. - vlog produced by Zennie Abraham Zennie62 Blog https://ift.tt/1d6iMwr - youtube video - Oakland Raiders highlights and commentary A Zennie Abraham YouTube Vlog Zennie62, Oakland's 1st YouTube Partner Channel, covers San Diego Comic Con, NFL Draft, Oakland Raiders, CES Las Vegas, The Academy Awards - CBS SF Bay Area Follow @Zennie62 on Twitter https://twitter.com/zennie62 オークランドの襲撃者

Marquis Lee Highlights USC Jacksonville Jaguars 2014 NFL Draft Interview

Marquis Lee Highlights USC Jacksonville Jaguars 2014 NFL Draft Interview - Video

Marquis Lee Highlights Marqise Lee Highlights USC Jacksonville Jaguars 2014 NFL Draft Interview Marqise Lee Highlights USC Jacksonville Jaguars NFL Draft Interview 2014 (Zennie62Media coverage sponsored by Courtyard New York Manhattan Central Park) Q. You had a nice little exchange that was on video ‑‑ MARQISE LEE: We've got a great relationship. I love that we've been in the same situation, the same organization, getting the job done. Plan to get the job done. Blake's a great guy, though. That wasn't the plan, but it ended up this way. Q. What do you think about the chance to catch passes from him, which you're going to be doing a lot of? LEE: I think it's great. I got the chance to sit down and really pay attention to Blake and the things he does, and I feel like he's a great quarterback honestly to tell you the truth, at least one of the top ‑‑ which he went in the top. I'm eager to get down to wherever we've got to get, which is Jacksonville. I don't know what day that exactly is, but get started. Q. You're going to ‑‑ some of the wide receivers that went ahead of you are going to places where they already have an established No. 1, Mike Evans, for instance, Odell Beckham going to play with Victor Cruz. You're going to a place where they need a No. 1. Just talk about that a little bit. LEE: Yeah, my goal is simple, as far as, you know, learn the playbook as fast as possible when I get in there, so I can have the opportunity to become that receiver they are looking for. I just -- to tell you the truth - if I don't learn that playbook, I'm going to be struggling, too. So my only thing is just focus on getting the playbook and then going from there. Q. Do you feel like if you get it mentally, that's what you need to step up and be a No. 1 there? LEE: I can honestly say yes. Q. What happened with Robert ‑‑ have you been in contact with him? LEE: I talked to Robert throughout the whole process, pretty much every day, honestly to tell you the truth, just to get advice, feedback, things like, you know, how he did in OTAs, if it was a struggle, and if it was, how he overcome it; the things they expect as far as going into Combine and what I have to do in order to be ready to go in there, things like that. I actually got the opportunity to talk to him every day. He helped me a great deal honestly to tell me the truth. Q. Are you surprised it lasted until the second day? LEE: I was surprised, I can honestly tell you. But I got the chance to go home yesterday to go to the hotel and just sit down and think about it and talk to my mom about it and one thing we talked about was, a lot of people thought I wasn't going to be here as far as making it to New York or even playing football. So at the end of the day, I'm happy to go where I went and have the opportunity to play for a team and a place I can call home. So I'm happy. Q. Did you go down the list of teams on day two? LEE: No, not at all. I just ‑‑ I didn't want nobody to tell me as far as what team likes me or anything. I just wanted to sit back and wait and see where I end up. Oakland Councilmember Annie Campbell Washington Responds To Zennie62 On Desley Brooks

Oakland Councilmember Annie Campbell Washington Responds To Zennie62 On Desley Brooks - Video

Oakland Councilmember Annie Campbell Washington Responds To Zennie62 On Desley Brooks Oakland District Four Councilmember Annie Campbell Washington responded to my video-blog asserting that Desley Brooks was not the reason for her decision to quit the Oakland City Council via text and then via Twitter. Before I present what she wrote, the back story is that Councilmember Brooks got into a dust-up with former Oakland Black Panther Party member Elaine Brown, and at Everett and Jones BBQ. Brown first tried to claim it was a criminal act, but the Oakland Police did not issue a citation and the Alameda County DA elected to avoid the matter, altogether. So, Brown went the civil lawsuit route, and what resulted was a sucessful court battle that cost the City of Oakland $4 million, and because the court bought the idea that Brooks was working in her capacity as an elected official, rather than hanging out at a restaurant as a private citizen. The matter has been used as a new reason for a kind of “get rid of Councilmember Brooks” effort on the part of some Oakland officials. But where those people have remained silent, Annie and Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf made the strange decision to form a public relations tag-team against Brooks, marked by Schaaf calling Brooks “The Donald Trump Of Oakland.” Then Mayor Schaaf inserted herself into the District Six Race, forming a coalition to help Brooks' challenger, Loren Taylor. That marks the second time in four years that Libby has ran a person, a black candidate, against Brooks – she did it in 2014, and Brooks won, even as she was accused of violating a section of the Oakland City Charter that every councilmember has crossed over in some way for decades. These actions have upset many because it looks like both Annie and Libby were trying to divide the black community. As one Oakland political observer said to me “They should have just kept their mouths shut and left it up to the District. Now, we have to take up for Desley.” Now, as for what Annie said... Since the text message was private, I'll use what Councilmember Campbell Washington posted on Twitter and referring to her post as Executive Director of the Masters of Public Policy Program at The Goldman School, a job she was announced as hired for back on January 28th, 2018: “I hold this job as a part-time employee. I am proud to serve the University and the Goldman School of Public Policy in this capacity. It is absolutely encouraged for City Councilmembers to hold part-time positions, in addition to their public service role.” My Twitter response was this: “It’s just that it would have been so cool if you issued a press release and video on January 28th, when the Goldman School made its announcement of your hiring. You could have said you were staying on CC and did that job PT! Then we could all celebrate you!” The fact is that Annie found out about the job in 2017, and before the problems of 2018 surfaced. A source said to me that Jerry Brown got her the job, but I've not been able to confirm that, to date. On top of that, Annie still has her name up on the City of Oakland website as running for the District Four Seat, and her filings indicate that she started running for reelection August of 2017. In other words, it looks like there are other reasons behind Annie's 2017 decision to seek new employment – but the desire to in some way get Desley Brooks out of office gave rise to this new story. Sadly.
