Miami NFL Super Bowl Bid Has $500 Million Investment From Stephen Ross - Video
Miami NFL Super Bowl Bid Has $500 Million Investment From Stephen Ross In spending time with the leaders of the Miami Super Bowl Bid, I learned that Miami Dolphins Owner Stephen Ross put in over $500 million of his own money. That kind of Jack will help to sway what NFL Owners do for Super Bowls in 2019, 2020, and 2021. Ross' failure to add a significant investment was the key reason Miami lost to San Francisco for the right to host Super Bowl 50.

Warriors Rally - Warriors Vs Thunder - May 24th New Parkway Theater
Warriors Rally - Warriors Vs Thunder - May 24th New Parkway Theater - Video
Warriors Rally - Warriors Vs Thunder - May 24th New Parkway Theater Save Oakland Sports and Golden State Warriors fans will hold a rally and TV viewing party to encourage Warriors’ ownership to remain in Oakland. Participants at the rally will wear a special edition “Oakland is Warriors Ground” T-Shirt as they cheer on the Warriors against the Thunder in one of the Bay Area’s best big-screen viewing experiences while sending a message to team ownership, the NBA, and elected officials that the team belongs in Oakland. By Chris Dobbins, Chair of Save Oakland Sports and Oakland-Based Warriors Fans Why: The Warriors’ owners plan to move the team across the Bay to Mission Bay in San Francisco, a move that has been hotly contested and would have potentially disastrous impacts to Oakland’s economy. Moving the Warriors out of Oakland would have severe impacts on the economic health of the city – estimated at nearly $45 million per year in lost revenues and an increase in unemployment. The rally and watch party event is sponsored by a coalition of fans including SaveOaklandSports (SOS). SaveOaklandSports is a nonpartisan grassroots fan group formed in 2012 to support efforts to keep the Raiders, A’s and Warriors in Oakland. SaveOaklandSports believes these teams play an irreplaceable role in the fabric of Oakland and the East Bay which have passionately supported the team for more than 40 years. http://ift.tt/20tyR60.

NFL Spring League Meeting 2016 Update: Super Bowl Bid, Raiders News #NFL
NFL Spring League Meeting 2016 Update: Super Bowl Bid, Raiders News #NFL - Video
I am at the NFL Spring League Meeting at the Ballentine Luxury Resort Hotel, where members of the Miami Super Bowl Bidding Committee held court at the hotel's lobby bar. For me, it was a great time to look back on our completing Super Bowl Bids from 2000: we both lost to Jacksonville for the right to host Super Bowl XXXIV Bidding Committee. Beyond that the talk was about their bid and the competing cities of Tampa, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New Orleans. They bought the drinks. On the matter of the Raiders, all I can say is Ronnie Lott is very real. Period. On the Las Vegas issue, while some owners want an NFL team there, it's still not clear that that is the majority of them. But the most important one is what Vegas wants and it's clear that is not to spend public money on football. Stay tuned.

Salumeria Prima, a French eatery at Newark Liberty Airport, uses a system of iPad's with a software and square-like interface that allows one to order their selections right at the table. The bartender brings them out to the customer. At once it's both tech cool and emotionally cold. Stay tuned.
