Their efforts did not result in the team staying rather the overwhelming majority of NFL owners voted to relocate the Raiders to Las Vegas. Daunted but not deterred, the group’s efforts ensued, resulting in an increased groundswell of support and interest from a wide range of participants--many with resources and influence. Subsequently, the (December 2017) decision by the Missouri Circuit Court 22nd Judicial Court (City of St. Louis) connected to the relocation of the former St. Louis Rams to Los Angeles, left the City of St. Louis in arrears, giving way to legal precedent in next steps from Oakland community organizers.
