Bond Buyer's Evan Fallor Uses Mayor Of Las Vegas Tweet Out Of Context In Oakland Raiders NFL Story - Video

Bond Buyer's Evan Fallor Uses Mayor Of Las Vegas Tweet Out Of Context In Oakland Raiders NFL Story Perhaps he thought no one was paying attention, but Evan Fallor, a reporter with The Bond Buyer who's Twitter account claims a journalism degree from Columbia, used a Twitter tweet Las Vegas Mayor Carollyn Goodman wrote in response to my tweet completely and deliberately out of contest with respect to the subject at the time. On July 6th, I reached out to Mayor Goodman on Twitter because I discovered what appears to be conflict of interest where in 2015 she received a total of $15,000 in campaign contributions from the Las Vegas Sands Corporation, and organizations owned by it. Then, and as of this writing, Mayor Goodman sits on the Southern Nevada Tourism and Infrastructure Committee, and on Monday, July 11th, the SNTIC, as it's called, is set to hear a proposal from the same Las Vegas Sands - it has partnered with the Oakland Raiders in an effort to build an NFL stadium in Las Vegas that calls for as much as $750 million in public money from the Clark County Hotel Tax. The Mayor responded to me with this: "The city attorney advised there's no conflict of interest with me serving in my official capacity on an advisory board." This is my blog and vlog: http://ift.tt/29obEzR https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9MD0z51zJc As you will see as of now, July 11th at 2:40 am EST, Mr. Fallor lifted the Mayor's tweet and used it as if she was talking about something related to the use of the Hotel Tax itself, and not on social media on the matter of an alleged conflict of interest. The Twitter exchange I had with Mayor Goodman is here in this link: https://twitter.com/mayoroflasvegas/status/750810516906541057 The article Mr. Fallor wrote and dated July 7th is here: http://ift.tt/29xcHB6 What Evan Fallor did was shameful. He had a story he could have asked me about - instead, he elected to make up one.
