Is Bernie Sanders Taking Donald Trump Advice Attacking Democratic Party After Nevada? Just a few weeks ago, in fact, two weeks ago, it looked like Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton were going to march into the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia united as one. But the weekend ruckus at the Nevada Democratic Party Caucus changed all of that. So-called Sanders supporters, upset that their voice was reportedly shut out of the proceedings, started throwing chairs and things got pretty violent. Afterward, Sanders gave a statement that did not calm the situation, but pitted him against the Democratic Party Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and against the very DNC system of policy-making.
