In fact, as of Wednesday December 9th "Grammy Nominations" is not in the top 100 listed Google News titles. In fact "Grammys" which is the most common reference, was overshadowed by Donald Trump by a factor of 2 to 100 on the day of the Grammy announcements. This is unheard of. But the Google Trends numbers are there for view. What this means should sound an alarm to the music industry. It means that TV is far less of a driver for mainstream music over sensationalism.
