Are they going to be a community partner and good corporate citizen, or is this just now about the Raiders?” This news, combined with the rancor around the much-discussed but not done Community Benefits Agreement part of the 12 documents needed to assure the stadium will be made, and the arguments between black Las Vegas contractors and Union Local 872 (which has black membership), together cast an ugly image on a project that does have enough work to go around for everyone. And the Oakland Raiders are at the center of the controversy.
