Oakland News Now reports that a cost committee created by the Transbay Joint Powers Authority under executive director Mark Zabadeh may have ordered a change order that called for exposed steel to replace a planned concrete support system above the bus ramp. This is the second example of how cost cutting done in the wake of the termination of Salesforce Transit Center Developer Maria Ayerdi Kaplan has apparently hampered the operation of the Transit Center.
