San Diego Comic Con 2017 - Eisner Spirit Of Comics Award Has SF Bay Area Rep The 2017 Eisner Spirit Of Comics Award Nominees feature two retailers from the San Francisco Bay Area: Trickster of Berkeley, and Illusive Comics and Games of Santa Clara! Congratulations to both. The 2017 Eisner Spirit Of Comics Award at San Diego Comic Con represents the 25th year that SDCC has celebrated retailers in this way. It goes back to Will Eisner's idea for the award in 1990, and SDCC has kept the tradition of focusing a positive light on the public's connection with comics: the retailer. The San Diego Comic Con 2017 Eisner Spirit Of Comics Award will be presented Friday, July 21st at 8 PM at The Hilton Bayfront Hotel. See you there!
