Taste of NY would be better promoted if the Dept of Agriculture actually had staff to promote NY business and engage NY small business, which they don't. Dept. of Agriculture is SHORT staff...NYC regional office has a skelton staff for years, but Empire State Development seems to have hired a political hack/caterer and they call her the Director of Farmers Markets. Can someone investigate how this position came about and how it's not located within the Dept. of Agriculture?
