Yetta Kurland Law Suit NYS Dept. of Health post by Suzannah B. Troy

Dear Neighbor,

I wanted to share with you an article that ran today regarding the lawsuit we are filing tomorrow to compel the NYS Department of Health to turn over documents regarding the closure of St. Vincent's Hospital.

I hope you will join me tomorrow, Monday August 16th at 10am on the steps of the NYS Supreme Court at 60 Centre Street (corner of Worth Street) for a press conference after the filing to show your support.

Also, Silvia Sanza, one of the Coalition members has put together a tremendous letter that has been circulating among the community to Commissioner Daines asking him to do the right thing and work to get a hospital back at the site of St. Vincent's.  You can click here to see that letter.
