Last night in the West Village the community board meeting got so passionate that the NYPD were called in. The NYPD were cool and did not arrest anyone. How could they in theory at least because in theory no one was breaking the law but passionate New Yorkers that are demanding a hospital wanted their voice heard!
Mike Bloomberg insisted we not jump to conclusions and defended BP. This morning there was more breaking news that BP is too blame and there was the mayor of NY caught in yet another embarrassing situation defending a giant corporation like he continues to come to the aid of Wall Street bigs but not a peep about Saving St. Vincent's Hospital or at least replacing the St. Vincent's with a hospital!
Nothing and in fact the word on the street is he and Christine Quinn are quietly trying to broker a deal that so far will have no hospital that the community desperately needs and in fact NYU is looking at part of the property.....and I was told the big part of the deal is by a famous real estate family that it would be hard to believe would turn their back on our community but so did Mike Bloomberg a supposed big philanthropist.
----- This is the info I was sent to me by Louis Flores. ------
At last night's Community Board 2 meeting, they called the cops out on some
angry citizens, but thankfully nobody was arrested. And then Brad Hoylman,
who ran the meeting, silenced Yetta by forcibly yanking the microphone out
of her hands and walking away with the mic. He didn't like what she had to
say at the public meeting, and so he censored her !
